Q; Can you install furniture and do house removals as well
A; Yes, we can actually incorporate all our services into a single job at one time. Please inform us of this when booking the job
Q; Which area’s do you cover
A; We cover all of Ireland for all of our services and the UK mainland for removals only.
Q; Do you have a minimum call out charge?
A; Yes, our minimum call out charge is 2 hours.
Q; Do you have insurance?
A; Yes we have transit insurance of £00,000 and Public Liability Insurance of £1,000,000
Q; How much notice do I need to give?
A; It is advisable to give us as much notice as possible to guarantee your booking, or at least 2 weeks, however if it is a small job or at short notice, give us a call to check availability and we will do are best to accommodate you.
Q; Can you collect large or heavy items?
A; We can collect mostly anything from anywhere, whether you cannot make it to the store or whether you are unable to fit it into your car. See our store pick-up service.
Q; I would like to be involved in the removal. Is that a problem?
A; No, see our man and van service or call to speak to us directly
Q; Will you pack our belongings for us or do we have to do it ourselves?
A; Whatever suits you best, we have a number of options available, see packing or give us a call and we can work to your own specific needs.
Q; What will happen to items that you clear?
A; We will dispose of all items removed/cleared in accordance with the clients instructions. This may include transportation to an auction house, storage facility or re-cycle/disposal of unwanted items.
Q; If you are installing furniture, will you take away any waste from the delivery or packaging?
A; Yes, all waste from the installation will be taken away, free of charge and the working area left clean and ready for use.
Q; I have already partially assembled some furniture, can you finish it for me.
A; Yes, whether the instructions have proved too much, it takes an extra pair of hands or you just don’t have the time. We can finish any job started or rectify any jobs gone wrong, within reason.
Q; Do I have to pay VAT?
A; AJ Services is registered for VAT so this will be added to your bill.
